REENTRY SUPPORT
Unlocking Doors
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Dallas, Unlocking DOORS™ is the states’ most innovative and comprehensive reentry network. The non-profit Network creates stronger communities by guiding people with criminal backgrounds to become law-abiding, self- sufficient members of society – which reduces crime and saves tax payers money. Using its unique and highly-successful “Reentry Brokerage™/Data and Predictive Trends” program, the organization serves as a model for how other cities, states and communities can help those with criminal backgrounds help themselves.
HOUSING
Hands of Hope
Hands of Hope is a full time street outreach to the unsheltered homeless in Tarrant and surrounding counties. We focus on those living in locations unsuitable for human habitation, whether that be in a vacant structure, a vehicle, or a tent in a remote wooded area. We search for those who are often forgotten and hidden away.
Once we locate an individual, we work to develop a relationship of trust and to provide their basic necessities. We have the ability to complete a coordinated housing assessment for entry into the system for housing assistance, taking that first step with them on site toward leaving the street.
JOBS
Prison Entrepreneurship Program
PEP is dedicated to delivering the nation’s best outcomes in the prison re-entry field. We provide unparalleled resources and real-world values-based business skills to inmates so that once they are back in society they have the tools, skills and support structure to pursue healthy, fulfilling and productive lives.
PEP clients are immersed in a proven program comprised of one-on-one training with executive volunteers, business plan mentoring with seasoned professionals and a highly competitive business plan competition.
FAMILY ASSISTANCE
Angel Tree (A Program of Prison Fellowship)
Incarceration can strain family ties to the breaking point. Prison Fellowship Angel Tree provides an opportunity for local congregations to extend the hope of the Gospel and enfold Angel Tree families into church life through delivering Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents, sending kids to summer camp, facilitating one-day sports camps, and more.
Angel Tree also invites and equips churches to enfold Angel Tree families into church life, resulting in mutually beneficial relationships of encouragement, growth, and support. Join Angel Tree to help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families in your community.
